学校長メッセージ
生活習慣病の増加や高齢化社会の影響から最近ではとくに「健康」や「食」への関心は高まりつつあります。その背景から、現在、本校が養成している栄養士・調理師・製菓衛生師の果たすべき社会的役割もますます重要なものとなってきました。
これらの職業は、いわば「健康」や「食」のプロフェッショナルです。それぞれに与えられた役割を自覚し活躍していくためには、まず何よりも基礎的な知識と技術をきちんと身につけておくことが大切です。本校では、経験豊富な教授陣、最新の設備、固定観念にとらわれない多彩なカリキュラムなどを活かし、各界の一線で活躍したいという皆さんの夢作りをサポートしています。
そして、もう一つ重視していることが「心の教育」です。豊富な知識や優れた技術も、温かい心や思いやりの心がなければ、真に生きたものとはなりません。人間性と自立の精神をもつ、優れた社会人の育成こそが本校の目的なのです。

Acquirement of “Knowledge”, “technique” and “the kindness (gentleness)”
Now we provides three courses of department largely divided, which is “the department of a dietitian”, “the department of a chef” and “the department of a confectionery Hygiene Master”. As you know, a dietitian supports the health care of community through food, and is playing an active part in fields, such as medical treatment, health, and welfare. A chef pleases people by offering a delicious dish and the dish considered healthily, and is contributing to society. Moreover, confectionery Hygiene Master provides society with a romance or a dream through the production of sweets, and is bearing the important role, which supports the time of one of relaxation and healing.
In order to be aware of the role given to each and to play an active part as a social member, it is not necessary to say that fundamental knowledge and technique must be learned exactly first and foremost.
We support you to grab your dream –“wanting to play an active part in a line of each field” – by providing the various curriculum which is not bound by a fixed idea, professors with abundant experience, and the most advanced equipments.It is a “mental education” that one more thing we value. Neither abundant knowledge nor outstanding technique will also become what was truly useful, without the warm heart and the heart of consideration.
